Had booked this cruise for a nice short getaway. After booking, we read some of the reviews about the Empress here. Not sure they were on the same ship. I did hear on board that the first cruises has some serious problems. I can tell you they have the problems worked out. Have been on several cruises and enjoy the large ships, but this was a really nice cruise. The ship is clean and looks great. If you want all the big ship extras and are bringing the teens, you probably will be disappointed, he ship IS small compared to others out there today. But if it is adults and friends, everything was great. Rooms, service and dinning were all excellent. Would certainly take this cruise again, You can not make some people happy no matter what, but I would recommend this cruise to anyone looking for nice relaxing adult cruise.
