The itinerary was terrific for the price we paid, with 8 ports of call in 11 days. One disappointment was that we had only an afternoon in Venice before disembarking. We did not notice that the ship was only due to dock at 3 pm and had hoped to sightsee in Venice the entire day. As it happens, with the late docking we missed the famous Murano glass works demonstrations and didn't have time to do much else as we had an early flight the next day.

The cruise director and staff were amazing and really got everyone involved in onboard activities in the Centrum and pool deck area. Too bad there was not enough seating around the Centrum to really stay and enjoy the fun.

I found the night entertainment somewhat run-of-the-mill and frankly was not too impressed.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

We loved the stateroom. It was spacious for ship standards, easily the largest interior cabin we've been in to date. We were located on the main level, right by all the Centrum action but just far enough to not be disturbed by noise when we slept.

Port Reviews

Venice

Took the free people mover to St. Mark's plaza and purchased a 1-day ACTV pass that allowed us to hop on and off any local transit. Unfortunately, only had time to see Murano, but it was well worth it. Too bad the ship docked too late to catch the glass-making demonstrations.

Athens (Piraeus)

We took the hop-on-hop off bus, booked through Viator but always seemed to reach the connection point just after the previous bus left so had to hang about for a half hour each day. It was a scorching day but we did see the main attractions - Acropolis and surrounding areas.

Kusadasi

Fellow cruisers had booked an excursion through Viator and we tagged along. The tour operator was very knowledgeable and I thought it well worth the time and money. We covered all the main tourist areas, including the remarkably well preserved buildings and mosaics and the Virgin Mary's home.

Dubrovnik

The ship offered a shuttle bus service to the main town but we did not take it (but in hind sight probably would have been better off doing so). It took us a while to locate the entrance to the wall around the city but we were tired by then and did not go up. The cable car experience was disappointing - good view of the entire city but not much else, and long line-ups to get to the cable car.
