I live in Houston, so it was just a short drive to the port. Waiting in the heat wasn't fun, but the outdoor waiting area is covered with ceiling fans, and the line moved pretty quickly. I used the handicap line once inside, and the service was great. It is hard to explain to folks how you can look normal but be in pain, as I had to do to the woman trying to usher me to the "normal" line tho. The ship was beachy and tropical, with the cutest cabaña style room doors. My room was very nice sized, considering it was an interior room with two portholes. Everything was good until I found a long black hair in my sink, which in my humble opinion is totally unacceptable. I called the steward and he immediately came and cleaned the sink area. No other room issues and my cabin was fine the rest of the week.
Food was pretty good overall. The lunch pasta bar and Tandoori food was great. Guy's burgers and fries were great. The SeaDogs polish dogs were good too. MDR was pretty good. Service was fine.
I skipped the shows, but the Comedy show I was funny. Casino had great service and employees, but the smoke was ungodly. And I found it strange that people trying to get to other areas of the deck had to walk through it - unless they managed to find door to the outside promenade.
