The Carnival Freedom is beautiful and well maintained. I felt the entertainment was lacking, it is the first time I never went to a night show in the theater because nothing sounded really interesting. The comedy club was very good. The main dining room service was great but the menu was lacking. Several nights I had a hard time finding something I really wanted. I also missed fish dishes, all they every had was mahi mahi and salmon...I just wanted plain fish. I have cruised Carnival 7 or 8 times and felt this was by far the worst menu ever. The entertainment around the ship was hit and miss but that is just that some were doing music I don't care for, there were lots of places to listen to music though. I would still do this ship again since we are so limited going out of Galveston, as I said, it is a beautiful ship.
