Chose this cruise for the amazing experience in several European ports. The ship is fantastic, I just don't think the staff has worked out all of the service. Jaime Dee the cruise director was the most awesome, entertaining CD I have experienced. I don't know how she has the energy she does. The ship has a lot of entertainment scheduled. The singers/dancers were really bad singers. For a huge ship, they need to make the lounge for comedy entertainment larger. The wait staff didn't get orders correct and they were not attentive. The food was just so, so. Cabin Steward was friendly. The cabin was comfortable. Ports and shore excursions booked were great, although we booked some away from Carnival due to cost. Traveled with two seniors and they are seasoned cruisers that agree with my review. We were a little shocked at the service, although it was not rude as I have seen some other reviewers state.

Port Reviews

Athens (Piraeus)

Athens is a very dirty port, stayed there an extra day prior to my cruise.

Rhodes

Rhodes is walkable from the port, beautiful. Beach near by too. Lindos was a great tour for shopping the old markets.
