We chose the cruise becasue of the destination and the ship. Anthem is beautiful ship and everything flows well. The only time that I felt crouded was on the pool deck and in the Windjammer. We only went to the Winjammer once and I would avoid during the busy times. My suggestion is to complete all of your registrations for dinner and shows online. Also book iFly and Northstar in advance. I was not able to book these envents in advance, but was able to do this on day one. Would highly recommend Jamie's Italian. We asked the server to order for us and it was fabulous. Chops Grille will not disappoint. Make sure you attend a show in Two 70 and We will Rock you was excellent. The staff was always helpful and they strive to provide good servicce. We did not experience any issues other than the weather, but this is not Anthem's fault.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

large and spacious. Cabin steward was excellent. He came by serveral times each day to see if we needed anything additional.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

shore excursion was canceled due to weather, but we toured on our own using the mini bus and ferrrys. Horseshoe Beach was beautiful.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

easy to get on and off the ship. We did self carry. We have been to NYC many times and so we did not choose to do anything here.
