Sail Date: Sep 2016

This cruise was booked last minute. It sat in the middle of holiday booked from work, and the itinerary appealed (although we had not visited any of the ports before).

The check-in process was smooth and hassle free. The inside cabin was roomy with sufficient storage for a week's worth of clothing. I would recommend taking a night light - the cabin was pitch black with the lights off. The cabin steward was attentive, and knew our names and recognised us within the first day.

Food options were excellent. The Lido restaurant (self service) can get busy, and the food will never be very hot, but the choice is good. The Orion restaurantprovides a waited service for breakfast, lunch (on some days) and dinner. Service may be a little slow, but the food is excellent.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside deck 6/7

Cabin grade guaranteed, allocated by Thomson. Situated towards the stern of the ship (about 5 cabins from the rear). Some engine noise and vibration, especially from the stern thrusters during docking. Otherwise, a quiet cabin. Ample space for a couple on a one week cruise - may struggle with storage for a longer cruise. Attentive steward, ensured the cabin was clean and well presented every day. Safe available (at extra cost), and mini-bar (but no price list).

Thought we would miss the window, but spent little time in the cabin. Very dark with the lights out, but packed a night light to allow orientation when waking in the night.

Port Reviews

Corfu

Embarcation port. Smooth embarcation, and good facilities.
