Could drive to the port, Reasonable price and love RCCL! Embarkation and disembarkation were the best we have experienced in Galveston. It has been a very poor experience in the past, so if it has improved that is great.

Had a basic aft inside cabin located just aft of the aft elevators. We loved this location, easy to get to and from. Our room Steward, Jorge was the best we have had in a long time, very friendly and accommodating, more like we used to have when we first started cruising 20 years ago. Noticed that we no longer were provided lotion or hair conditioner, or chocolates.

Food was quite good. Loved most meals, A/C wasn't quite operating up to normal so a bit warm in main dining room. Efficient waiter at dinner. Food at Giovanni's Table was excellent as well as the service. If I could change anything it would be the open seating at lunch and breakfast. We sat with some people who were rather profane in their language and could not stop complaining about the food and were rude to the waiters. We actually skipped a couple of breakfast and lunches just to avoid sitting with others, which is not our norm. Bilijana was charming at the door and tried to accommodate our request for table for 2 but just too many people to be able to allow it most times. This could just be solved it the line would just make more tables for 2.
