Cabin: Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Loved the virtual balcony. The shows were not compelling with the exception of Mike Price, the juggler. Embark/disembark were smooth. The cabin was ok, but there was a lot of banging in the cabin because of the rough seas. Not sure why it was so rough. I thought fall would be calmer on the pacific. Rained in Astoria, live close to San Francisco, so we didn't get off until Victoria. Need more time there. My time dining is very difficult to get a table. Ate in Sapphire Dining room only 3 meals, the rest in the buffet. Can't complain. It is quite a task for what they do all day long. Enjoyed Johnny Rockets.

Entertainment/Activities: Shows ok, not great except for juggler (Mike Price) who was amazing. Not impressed with cruise director. Very canned. Lots to do but also a lot of upsell!

Do not understand why they play "Angry Birds" by the pool at night in the freezing cold!! There never seemed to be anyone watching the movie because of the weather. Also, the ship is supposed to be upgraded to 3D movie capable which doesn't help much if they don't show 3D movies.

Virtual Balcony - GREAT!

Victoria

rented a car and went to Butchart Gardens with complimentary tickets . Beautiful place but a lot of walking. Tried to get Tea at the Empress but already booked up. Drove around downtown and china town before getting back on the ship. Wish there was more time in Victoria
