Let me begin by saying this was my first time cruising with Carnival and I will NEVER cruise with them again. Our holiday was ruined by so many things that it turned into something of an endurance test until we got to come home. I have cruised with many companies before and never known anything like this. There were many people around the pool voicing similar concerns, particularly families with regards to the kids club and most people regarding the service... or lack of it.

Service:

Plain AWFUL. Not enough waiters to tables in the main dining room, so no attention to detail. My sons would be given their desserts while I was having a starter... try occupying 2 under tens when you still have two courses to go. Often we'd wait 20-30 mins with dirty plates before the next course would arrive. I also gave up on ordering drinks in the end because they usually arrived around 30 minutes later.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4A

A 3 birth cabin - 2 singles with one upper berth. Cabin was fine. Not a lot of hanging space for adults, but I am a single parent with two young boys so it was fine for us. You need some of your own hangers. Only one plug and two USB chargers by the mirror, so you can't charge phone near to bed. TV had a mind of it's own and would switch itself on during the night. Or refuse to switch off. We had to get housekeeping to unplug the whole set up a couple of times, then ring for tech support more than twice to come and set it back up. They never came the first time. Cabin steward kept the place clean-ish, but never removed used glasses and sometimes left his cleaning cloths in the room.
