Boarding in Brisbane was quite smooth. All the crew were welcoming and friendly. We had an inside cabin on Baja deck, B322. Cabin is small but has enough space and storage. Our cabin steward Renato kept it clean, neat and tidy all the time. The bed was very, very comfortable. We traveled in a group of 8 friends and opted for traditional dining. Our 2 waiters, Reynaldo and Aulia were outstanding. More than excellent service, they were very attentive, warm and friendly whilst also being thoroughly professional. We all felt like kings and queens!! The food was excellent, lots of choices and very delicious. We also opted for breakfast in the main dining room and again all the wait staff were great and again the food was fantastic. None of us had any fault with any food during the 15 nights on board. The on board evening entertainment was fantastic. Chris Pawley was outstanding, he has a beautiful voice and is very charismatic, thoroughly entertaining. Anthony Laye, a mentailist, was also great. Intriguing and entertaining. The Sea Princess dancers and singers put on 3 very good shows, a tribute to Motown, a country and western night and to finish, a British Invasion show. Again all fantastic. There were dance lessons on sea days provide by Glen and Carol, very good teachers and provided enough for even basic dancers to be able to get up and dance. The 2 bands, Passion and Rumors were great, good singing and a good variety of songs. All of out group enjoyed the cruise. Disembarking in Fremantle was easy and quick. We are looking forward to our next cruise with Princess

Port Reviews

Brisbane

We boarded here only

Cairns

We hired a mini bus and drove to Port Douglas as a group of 6.

Alotau

As PNG is a 3rd world country, this port is certainly nothing special. We got off the ship for an hour or so to see the WW2 memorial.

Darwin

We didn't get off here.

Geraldton

This was our surprise port. Clean and neat. The HMAS Sydney 2 memorial is a must see as is the museum. The foreshore area is lovely. Well worth looking around

Broome

Caught the provided bus into town, provided free by the city. Shopped for pearls, had a drink at the Roebuck hotel
