Boarding at Port Canaveral was fast and efficient. Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome.

Once on the ship we found chaos with the luggage. The luggage was parked in the elevator waiting area and all of the elevators in that section were closed for passenger use. Having 2 passengers with us who had difficulty navigating the stairs became a problem. After the Muster Drill we went to the luggage staging area and collected our own luggage off of the trolleys instead of waiting for them to sort through them.

Our room was very clean and well attended. Our room steward, Conrad, went above and beyond to make everyone's trip a great one. He was always smiling. The ship had quite a bit of rocking motion....I don't know if that was due to the weather or the size of the ship. This was the largest ship that we have been on. Getting from one end of the ship on Deck 3 to the other sometimes became a challenge. You cannot go straight through due to the Northern Lights Dining Room going from one side to the other...no hallway to pass by it. It was confusing at first.

Very clean cabin. Nice quiet balcony. Overlooked the Promenade deck and a whirlpool. I was concerened about noise from the deck but it was never an issue. I personally would rather look straight down to the ocean and not a deck. At night you miss out on the beauty of the sea because the lights from the deck below deter from it.
