Sail Date: Dec 2015
Traveled with children

We sailed on the NCL Getaway in December of 2015. This was my 2nd NCL cruise and my husband and daughter's (age 12) first. I sailed on the NCL Star the year prior and experience great service, as well. It was one of the best family vacations that we had. The ship's accommodations and the staff were excellent. My husband really enjoyed participating in all the onboard games and competitions. The fitness center offered many options for those choosing to use the facilities, as well the ability for each of us to spend time doing individual activities if we wanted. In addition, the entertainment options were a real treat. We attended a show at the Illusionarium and a dance performance entitle "Burn the Floor," talented dancers, for sure. The ship-sponsored excursions were enjoyable. To top it all off on the final day of our cruise I won a raffle for the free cruise giveaway so we are cruising again next month.

We have scanned our daily on board schedules and kid's club schedules on our website at:

Cabin Review

Cabin IF

The cabin, although expectedly small, offered all that we needed. Our room steward was top-notch and provided some of the best service that we might have envisioned!
