This was our 1st cruise & after reading lots of reviews from this site & watching U-Tube videos of Amy Donohos at Seacruisersvlogs.com ,we decided on the Norwegian Sky. We decided to fly to Miami from Phila. a day earlier 7 stay a day later after the cruise but you don't have to do this.We left on Mon.(Labor day) & return on Fri.which was great as we are in our 50's/60's & there were only a handful of kids on the ship.

Embarkation & Disembarkation went very quick, no issues at all. I Strongly suggest take your own luggage off the ship. ALL ALCOHOL was included unless you wanted premium alcohol which would cost you more (honestly the brands of beer & alcohol were more than sufficient).We had a balcony cabin & it was very clean ,comfortable & our steward " Carmo" was excellent.Our room -9263 was right next to the stairs & elevators on deck 9 away from the music or any noise. We decided to purchase the 3 meal dining pkg. prior to cruise.We ate at Cagney's twice & Il Adagio once & the food & service was great.If your celebrating a special occasion let them know as you will get a nice treat. I recommend making the reservations before boarding.

We did eat at the Buffet a couple times as well as the Palace & Crossings which were good.. For Breakfast, I would definitely recommend Il Adagio as they make made to order omelettes ,homemade waffles & its a quiet place to have breakfast.This was 1 of Amy's many suggestions & guest what She was on the cruise ! We went for breakfast & my husband saw her 1st & said "Your the U Tube lady" my wife & I watched & he immediately rushed me over to meet her. I was thrilled as I had no idea she & her beautiful daughter were on the ship! We met up again at 1 of the game shows & she did a blog with us! Read more
