This was a family cruise. We selected the fastastica package as opposed to the bella package. The fantastica package includes more options the the bella one.

This was one of the largest ships that we had been on but surprising enough, the ship didn't feel that much bigger than a few of the other ships which we had been on. And it did not feel overly crowded ... we suspected that it was not filled to capacity for this sailing.

The dining in both the Calumet Buffet and the dining rooms were good but not outstanding. In the buffet there were several choices located at different stations (fast foods (pizza, hotdogs, hamburgs, sandwiches), hot buffets items, Italian, Indian and a kids section). Seating was never a problem particularly at the very rear of the ship. In the formal dining room (where we ate most of the time) the breakfasts were ordered from a fixed menu which stayed the same throughout the cruise. The dinner menu had a fixed portion along with a section which changed each night. We noticed that the meals started off very nicely but seemed to decline as the cruise went on. Service was generally fast between courses.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabin was well appointed and comfortable. The couch in the room was larger that most others which we had on other cruises and with other lines. The bathroom was compact with a shower that had doors which were able to collapse making things roomer when you were not taking a shower. Our balcony was larger than most.

Seing we were traveling with other family we had an adjoining room and both the bacony door and the connecting door could be opened between the rooms.
