As living in Copenhagen, it was no problem to get transport to the embarkation which was smooth. The ship is nice and layed out in "classical cruise style" with lots of flowers and art. The Zuiderdam is indeed not an old rust bucket,
Average age for fellow passengers was about 70 or a bit more. We had nice a balcony cabin, average size, (6121) with lots of storage possibilities.
Dining in the main dining room was all in all good. We had free dining time. However on some evenings we had to wait too long for our food. It seemed to depend on which waiter, we were (un-)lucky to get. That breakfast in the main dining room - even at seadays- stops at 9.00 AM is hard to understand. We are on vacation !
