As the saying goes, how many chances do you have to make a first impression?

We have traveled on several cruise lines including Disney, Princess and some smaller ones. Oceania was the most non-caring in their treatment of the entire cruise experience. The one I enjoyed the least.

Boarding was a bad start: 45 minute wait standing in a "snake line" to register. This, after an all night flight and significant jet lag. You can't sit down when you're in a "snake line."

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Clean...a bit small...but adequate. Good service.

Port Reviews

Greenock (Glasgow)

We had the same experience at three of the ports: Poor quality control on the part of Oceania in selecting the bus/coach companies. The guides were very good but the sound systems in the buses/coaches were very poor with significant distortion of the sound. Several of the passengers around us had the same reaction.

Oceania should do some quality control on the partners they select.
