Cruise ship- very good, Ports- excellent, weather - average for the region, Complaints-a few.

We chose this cruise for our family of four including two teenagers because the dates suited our family and we wanted a UK or European cruise. We didn't want transatlantic flights and we went to the Med last year with Princess Caribbean and enjoyed that cruise.

Overall, although the weather was actually good for The Baltic and we did enjoyed the countries we visited, we missed sitting in the sun and we had a few small issues with the ship.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Minisuite B525 was clean, good layout & inside, spacious for two. Bed was great . Our balcony was unexpectedly smaller than last year (on Caribbean Princess), with just enough room for 2 chairs, footrest and table. If all four of our party wanted to stand on it, I had to move one of the chairs into our suite.

Wifi reception in the suite was for the short sessions I used it.

The kids interior cabin B523 was better than the one they had last year with a "landscape" rectangle shape rather than a "portrait" rectangle shape. The gap between and around the twin beds was much better and less squashed.

The in room movie choices were much better and like hotel style movie on request (but free). +£ water bottles were provided rather than having to keep asking for bottled water by rooms service. I think the cost of a large bottle (maybe 1 litre) was in the region of 3$. Free water was only available by the glass from room service rather than by the jug (which we got last year) and is better for a family of four.

We were well located in aft for lifts up to Horizon & restaurants. Our kids room was diagonally opposite.
