This was for a SEVEN day cruise

Alaska, Vancouver and Canadian Rockies

We planned our trip around a seven day cruise on the Norwegian Sun from 5-12 September 2016. We left home on 24 August and arrived home on 16 September. The trip had four stages, Vancouver, Canadian Rockies, Norwegian Sun Alaska cruise, and post-cruise tour to Denali.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Excellent cabin for Alaska. The cabin size is pretty much standard for a balcony. However, an aft is perfect for Alaska, since you can view the glaciers and sights without enduring the cold winds. The ship is 15 years old, but in good condition. Women did not like the location of the hair dryer in the bathroom.

Port Reviews

Vancouver

We spend a week in Vancouver prior to the cruise. Lots to see in the city and surrounding area. Details in my review of cruise.

Ketchikan

We took a tour with ketchikan taxi company. Kat was our guide. It was great, details in my review.

Juneau

Took a tour with Viator for whale watching and the Mendenhall Glacier. It was a very good tour. Details in my review.
