Sail Date: Sep 2016
Cabin: Sunset Verandah

We chose this ship for our 25 wedding anniversary celebrations as we had sailed on her 4 years ago.

We wanted to renew our wedding vows and decided Celebrity Reflection was the ship we loved most. There were 5 couples altogether.

We decided as a treat to purchase the Sunset Veranda cabins on deck 8 at rear of the ship for unrestricted view etc and we werent disappointed and we got up a few mornings just to watch the sunrise from our balcony....it was spectacular as was the sunsets too.

Cabin Review

Sunset Verandah

Cabin SV

Our Cabin was situated in a fantastic spot and although the veranda was hosed down daily the only problem was the soot from the funnel.....

Port Reviews

Taormina (Messina)

We walked around the town and took an open top bus which brought us back in time for the midday church bells which was lovely to watch

Mykonos

we got a bus to paradise beach 6euro return and sunbeds and uumbrella for two was 20 euro. beach bar sea etc fab very clean and worth going. Bus is hourly going back to mykonos port where you can walk into the beautiful Mykonos town. Try to have a drink in the bars/tavernas near the sea on stilts. Then walk round to the little windmill. If your really lucky like we were you may see Pedro the Pelican who is so tame and huge and walks round Mykonos town and through the tavernas.

Rhodes

So much shopping and bartering to do in this lovely place. Its lovely clean the the banter with the shop workers is hilarious.

Santorini

My favourite island. Dont go into cable car. Go to the shop and buy a boat trip ticker for 20euro. This boat will take you to Oia. you will be picked up by buses after boat drops you off and taken into Oia. The bus station is across the road. Walk around beautiful Oia at your leasure and take in the most amazing scenery. Take lots of photos and enjoy. The ticket includes your bus back to Fira which is hourly. Have a leasurely walk around fira and find a roof top bar so you can see the volcano. We went to Stannis Taverna it was lovely. Your ticket also includes the cable car back down to the tender (boat) which takes you to the ship.

Naples

Dont really like Naples.

We walked around to the ticket office and bought a one way ticket to Capri 20 euro on the speedy boat which takes around 50 minutes. Get ticket for the furnicular by the boat ticket office as you get off the boat and Go up the furnicular and turn left into the most lovely shops and bars etc though its very expensive. We then come back down the furnicular get a one way ticket so sorrento around 16 euro and takes around 35 minutes. have a mooch around Sorrento. we couldnt sail back to Naples as it was a bit choppy so we got the train from Sorrento to Naples for around 5 euros but that takes around 45-40 minutes so give yourself time. You can get off and see Pompei as its a stop on the way.
