We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We really enjoyed all the ports. Barcelona and Valencia were our favorites. My husband and I traveled with our daughter, son-in-law and almost two year old granddaughter. We had the Select Beverage package, which was a great deal as we got all the beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks for free. Service on those was excellent even though we had this package.
We stayed in a 3rd deck ocean view room, the room was nice, very clean. We had no problems with our room or our cabin steward. Our daughter stayed in a balcony room on the 8th deck, also enjoyed their room. Their steward was super helpful with the portacrib issues.
We thought the food was great. My husband has a lot of food allergies and in the Windjammer, they now have a section that is for Gluten Free Food, which was very helpful to him as that is one of his allergies. We thought the Windjammer had a great selection and variety. Ate in the dining room five nights, enjoyed that part. The lobster was not free, which is used to be, it would be $30. The service was a little slow in the dining room and one night I ordered a mocha and never go it. A couple days later the head water brought me a complimentary one.
Our cabin was nice, it was close to the elevators, so that was convenient. It was kept clean and all our stuff fit well. We used the bag-laundry service one day for $34, that was super nice.
Did a bike ride from Fat Tire Bikes--really enjoyed this excursion, good way to see the city.
Had to take a bus from the port--also not advertised on the itinerary. We loved Valencia, went to the City of Arts & Sciences.
You can walk (about 2 miles) to the public beach from where the E10 shuttle drops you off. The beach is great, very fine sand, warm water and restrooms available.
