This was my seventeenth cruise on various ships out of Brisbane. I chose this ship as it is a recent addition to the P&O fleet. I found the cabin to be a good size with plenty of cupboard space, comfortable beds and a clean well serviced bathroom. The shower over the bath might upset some people but I had no problem. There was even a DVD player in the cabin which is unusual in my experience. I found the staff in every area to be very cheerful and efficient. The food, well I'm not a "Foodie" so simple is fine. The main restaurant was fine and the new Pantry system seemed to work well with very little standing in line. There appeared to be plenty of activities during the day and many quiet places to relax. The only points that could improve would be the lifeboat drill which was a rather cramped experience, the tendering to shore in lifeboats which seemed to take a long time compared with other ships I have been on. Apart from these minor points I have to say I enjoyed the cruise and would recommend it to anyone. Cruising has to be great value for the money.
