This was my 2nd cruise on the Windstar Motoryachts this year, the first was Costa Rica/Panama and my first experience cruising. Well I'm totally sold on Windstar and Cruising in general after spending a month in Europe with 9 days on the Star Breeze and 20 days living out our suitcases while traveling through Italy and France. Hotel after hotel with cramped, small rooms, air conditioning that didn't work, noisy city center location and food that went from poor to very good but expensive.

The ship is older but recently renovated, the cabins were roomy and very comfortable for the 8 of us that were traveling together. The food was excellent whether the morning buffet or the evening dinners. The tours were informative, professionally run and packed with information about the local area. We chose the food and wine tours for the most part since that is our interest.

The service is just over the top, I don't know how they train the staff so well and teach them to remember your name and always friendly.

Classic Suite

Cabin CS

One of the best parts of the cruise, I like to have a sitting area in any room I stay and these cabins had a couch and 2 chairs. Two sinks, great shower and the best toiletries. Walk in closet and the laundry service was just fantastic and worth every penny.
