My husband and I have always been big Disney fans. A friend of mine couldn't believe that we had never been on a cruise, let alone a Disney cruise. So in 2011 I convinced my husband that we should try a four night on the Dream. Well now we are hooked! We just got back from our fifth Disney cruise and next year's is already booked! (Cannot beat the rebooking offer on board!) This was our third year in a row sailing on the Fantasy for a seven night. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful and accommodating at our normal rotational dining as well as the table service available for breakfast or lunch, the buffets, and the quick service stations. The food was amazing! We did the Palo Brunch and Palo dinner upgrades all amazing! We did a Champagne tasting class, a Halloween mixology class, and a regular mixology class for a nominal fee. We enjoyed relaxing on the adult only deck in the very cushy loungers with built in adjustable pillows, and bar service. Never had a problem finding two chairs together any time of the day including sea days. To cool off they don't have a pool, but rather Satellite Falls which is perfect to sit with the built in bench in the 3 foot of water or on the abundant ledge. We did three excursions, Tequila tasting at Cozumel.. which was fun, Tiki Beach at Cayman Islands was wonderful... , and in Jamaica we tried the Green Grotto Caves... was just OK. We made sure to catch all of the Disney Broadway shows, which I love love love, then the late night comedy/magic shows at the Tube along with a ton of other adult entertainment they provided. Our entertainment host was Joshi who was hilarious! We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets on our veranda and took four bottles of champagne with us in our carry on. Yes, you can do that on Disney cruise ships! And for you gamblers, if you don't think you can live without a casino, I tell you that you can! I love my casinos at home, but if need be, I can get my fix from Bingo and a chance to win $10,000! So don't let that dissuade you from a Disney Cruise!! Only complaint that we really have is that if you want to do the professional pictures that are available each night, you could get stuck behind a huge family that takes a big group photo, then individual photos, then individual families.. and suffice to say 15m later, the two of us get our turn and get three taken and are done in 5m. I wish there was an easier way for them to somehow limit the time for the big families. But other than that.. it was a Dream or should I say a Fantasy Vacation!!!!

Cabin 07A

Our room was in the forward part of the ship. Loved the location and the room! Bed is extremely comfortable! Our stateroom host was wonderful!

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Seemed like it took forever to starting boarding, but then once started it went well!

Castaway Cay

Love this Island! Only thing is going to Adult beach is a bit of a challenge because you have to take two trams. I usually walk it, but the last part is boring because it's an old air strip. If you have mobility issues, you have to take a tram from boat to family beach and then another to adult beach. Same going back.
