This was the 12th cruise my wife and I had taken and the third to the fjords. It was one of the best. The ship is an ideal size allowing around 1800 passengers. We prefer this to the super liners which seem so congested.

Aurora is beautiful throughout. We especially liked the Vanderbilt, Masquerade and Champions lounges which were nice places to relax and partake in quizzes or other gentle activities. My wife enjoyed the Spanish classes very much.

As a keen walker I loved the promenade deck 7 which allows uninterrupted circuits of the ship with 3.2 laps being one mile. 25 laps during the course of a day is very doable for me almost noticing. And what a great way to burn off the calories from the fine dining.
