We picked the cruise based on the travel location... Once on the ship you could see that it was a little run down in places even though it had been through a refresh three years earlier. Would not recommend this ship to anyone for a cruise. This was our third Carnival cruise and we also traveled to the Mediterranean aboard Royal Caribbean. We have seen the progress of the whole cruise industry go down since the mid 90's. The food quality on this ship was bad, no taste and haft the time the food was either warm or cold. We complained to the people in charge of the food and they said it would be corrected but unfortunately the next day the same problem. The only time you got a somewhat hot temperature food was eating in the main dinning room. Once again for the amount of money you pay to stay on these ships you would think that the quality of the vacation would be much better!!!
