We loved our 9-night New England/Canada cruise on the Anthem, which is a beautiful ship. Embarkation day was challenging, due to crowds and some issues with check-in and our cabin (tv, safe, and remote for virtual balcony all non-functioning). Issues were resolved by staff, but not without some aggravation. Account did not accurately reflect on-board credit for the first three days, but a trip to Guest Services straightened that out as well. RCCL did have the correct amount in their records, which alleviated that concern. The cabin itself (10275) was large enough for three adults, with a king-size bed, a couch and enough space to move around as needed. The virtual balcony's picture was sharp and realistic...great feature! (a previous vb experience on the Navigator of the Seas was not as good.) Food overall was excellent, as was service. Only poor dining experience was in the Silk dining room, where service was severely lacking. Other dining rooms more than made up for it, though. Our daughter, at 32 yrs old, felt like an infant; 80%+ of passengers were over age 65, 90% over age 50. Shows were excellent, but there seemed to be a lack of things to do at night. Staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. Disembarkation was surprisingly easy and quick. Would I sail her again? Hmmm. Not sure, but I would consider it if the route was right.
Spacious enough for three adults; bathroom sufficiently large. Adequate storage space. Loved the virtual balcony.
