We had a fantastic time on board Vision of the Seas and will go back to her again. From the moment we arrived at the Venice Port to embark to the moment we walked off the ship for the last time it was totally awesome.

All the crew members were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. Although the ship is 18 she was in remarkably good shape and was constantly being maintained. Our cabin was great and the steward , Alwyn Jacobs, couldn't have done a better job. There were so many great things to do on board that we missed doing everything we wanted to do which is a good excuse for another cruise on her. Due to allergies we mainly ate at the Windjammer and the chefs there would tell me what I could or couldn't have, although we did have two evening meals at Chops Grille which made the best steaks I have ever eaten. We would also like to mention that the three crew members who manned Latti-tudes café where fantastic, they quickly learned my name and my usual order to the point of getting it started as soon as they saw me approach.

In short this has been a fantastic experience and we are now saving up for another, longer cruise with Royal Caribbean (7 days was just too short a time), possibly a back to back cruise on Vision of the Seas.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin was great, well laid out with plenty of room for the two of us. It was spotlessly clean and fresh with lots of haning space and hangers, shelves and drawers.

The en-suite, too was well proportioned and spotless.

Our steward, Alwyn Jacobs, was a real joy to be around. He took time to acustom my partially sighted husband to the room and ensured large print Cruise Compass and menus were left for him. Each night we would rush back from dinner to see what towel animal had been left, our family and friends would wait for the pictures to be posted on facebook too.

Port Reviews

Venice

I hope to Never travel through Venice Airport again, I would call it "Organised Chaos" except there didn't seem to be any organisation to it.

Kotor

Such a beautiful town to wander through at your leasure, soaking up the sun and history. We would love to return there and take an excursion.

Mykonos

We loved this little sea port and the surrounding areas, so want to go back, there would never be enough time to savour everything about the island.
