This was our second cruise (the first was in April on Enchantment) and we had visitors coming from Ireland in September who decided they really wanted to do a cruise based on our experience. Based on having only experienced RCI, our location in FL, and the visitors date requirements, we choose Majesty of the Seas. I will admit to some trepidation based on some reviews, the ship's age and size, but in the end really didn't find age to be an issue and the size may have been a plus since crowds were smaller at the eating venues and show. BTW, it was a pleasant surprise to see Marc and Mo together again. There were a few hiccups (cabin bed configuration, dining seating) but the staff responded appropriately and corrected so no real complaints. The elevators are pretty much useless after noon time until late, so get used to the stairs. The production shows were great... very good entertainment by the talented resident troupe and two headliner comedians. Having a previous cruise under the belt, we were not so confused and able to enjoy more activity. Our experience also proved beneficial to our Irish visitors who loved the entire experience. Did the Wave Rider at CoCo Cay this time and would do again. Did the Glass Bottom Boat at Nassau this time and would probably opt for a walking tour the next time. My only significant complaint which I registered with RCI was the Pool Deck configuration seemed to accommodate smokers more than non-smokers with shaded area lounges and tables in the smoking area. As an ex-smoker I can appreciate the need to provide an area, but not at other's expense.
Tight, but functional. Bed was comfortable.
