This 'crossing' was part of a trip which included a coach journey on the east coast of USA and Canada. Though we have been with many cruise lines, we had never done Cunard so we were looking forward to sampling the white star service.
We were quite late in the day at boarding so we were through and onto the ship very quickly. We had an obstructed view balcony room, good size, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, enough storage space both in the cabin and shower room. Balcony a good size. Well serviced by our steward. The tea/coffee making facilities were a bonus we did not expect.
The ship is beautiful, having undergone extensive remastering. The public rooms are tastefully decorated. We were first sitting in the brittania dining room, food was alright, though could have been hotter at times. Our waiters were efficient. We really liked the Kings Court self serve area, huge choice and plenty of tables. Also had light breakfasts and lunches in the Corinthian lounge.
Lovely cabin good size plenty of storage. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Super TV, husband wanted to bring it home with us!
