Traveled with children

Was looking for a good alternate option to cruise out of Port Canaveral than Disney. Yes I know nothing will compare to Disney for the quality and children's activities and we did not go into the cruise with expectations even close to what we expect out of Disney. BUT the staff, food and the ship for the most part were terrible.

Only had good experiences with 4 of the staff members. Most of the others on the ship were acting very grumpy, like we were imposing on their time. It was like being trapped with a bunch of disgruntled employees. Made us really appreciate the few that had smiles on their faces and were pleasant.

The food at best was mediocre. NOT one night did our appetizers come out hot, warm or even tepid. The entrees were edible but not very good.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

TINY, TINY, TINY, TINY, TINY!

This is the smallest Ocean View that I have ever seen. May work out OK for two people but for 2 adults with 2 boys 8 & 11 it was not a good experience. Once those bunks were down the people in the lower berth could not see the TV from the bed.

No problem storing 3 suitcases. The Steward was a lovely lady who always smiled and called the boys by name.

The bathroom was acceptable.

The only thing worse than this stateroom would have been an inside without natural light from the window.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Nassau is Nassau. Did the Pirate museum and the boys enjoyed it. Been so many times this port has no appeal to us.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Stayed there the night after and did go to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center on our own.
