My husband and myself (50's) were planning on a mediterranean cruise and then changed our minds to stay domestic. we had booked celebrity and so we stayed with the line. we have cruised on royal caribbean and enjoyed the lifestyle. we booked a skysuite and that made our great trip so much nicer! enormous bathroom with a bathtub!! huge room. Butler on call....with morning coffee. dramamine. red bull. restaurant reservations. anything and everything you might need. afternoon snacks....and always with a smile. Your own private restaurant for suite guests only. choice seats at shows. embark and disembark whenever you want. our package also included the 400.00 pp premier drink package and internet (another 400.00 per device!!) as well as 150.00 pp ship credit (for spa or gifts or photos). as we spoke to other guests - we realized how smart/fortunate we were.

We were in suite 2122. 12 th floor. mid ship location was perfect. there were also suites on 11. that is probably better than 12 because these balconies all have roofs which overhang preventing you from seeing the tops of the mountains and the glaciers. the only way to see the top was to lay down on the floor and look up! the service was exceptional all over the ship. even though the cruise was almost at capacity - it never seemed crowded. anywhere.

Oceanview was the main restaurant buffet. the food was delicious. a ton of choices - varied every day. there are some "specialty" restaurants with cost 50.00 pp onboard if you need a change (remember if you have a suite you have your own private restaurant lumiere)....and as a native new yorker i know superb fresh quality food - and this place was as good as any 4star ny restaurant.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

Large cabin with enormous bathroom with full size tub and handheld. TV offered nothing but CNN (not news). Having a butler like our Jacky was an experience you'll never forget. I think the 11th floor would have been a better choice for full unobstructed view. Couch looked a little dated and the King bed was 2 twins together. Comfy bed. Great shower pressure.
