We choose this cruise because it went to Iceland. It was our first cruise and we had no idea of what to expect. The embarkation process seemed a bit slow but once on board we forgot about the waiting. The ship is beautifully decorated and easy to move around. Our cabin was light, nicely appointed and roomy with plenty of storage for our clothes and suitcases.

The food was exceptional, from the Lido Market to the Tamarind and The culinary arts centre. The staff were extremely good especially our cabin stewards who always had a smile and friendly greeting. Loved the towel animals!

The entertainment was generally good though some of the performances on the world stage where not to our liking. The music in the BB King lounge was very good.

Cabin VA

Very good. Plenty of room. Lots of storage.

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

Didn't really like Amsterdam very much. It is very dirty mainly because of the number of smokers who drop butts all over the paths. Also the bikes can be very dangerous to avoid.

Newcastle (England)

We did our own touring via the train and local buses. Saw the Angel of the North, the Baltic centre and the Millenium Bridge.

Edinburgh (South Queensferry)

Went on a tour with a group from Cruise critic. Went to the Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. Also toured through the countryside.
