My husband and I have cruised many times over the years. We did go on Carnival once before but not the Conquest. We chose this ship because of the ports to visit and no other cruise ship was doing the southern Caribbean. We live in Pompano Beach so we have easy access to the Everglades port area.First off we spent over $3000 to get a suite. We were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary. Our suite was clean however old and musty smelling..wood floor and rug had more stains than you could count. The balcony furniture was rusty and nasty. The food was poor and lack creativity on the part of the chefs. Dinner menu was mostly the same every night and tasteless! The buffet food was awful and looked awful. We spent time swimming in the adult pool but there again rust everywhere you looked. The Conquest is a rusty bucket that needs overhauling immediately. The entertainment was ok but same group most evenings. When we were debarking my husband fell in the luggage area while trying to retrieve our luggage....he had a hip replacement recently..and no staff helped him nor cared to see if he was injured. The best part of the entire cruise was the meal we had at the Steakhouse. WE WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CARNIVAL CRUISE!!!

OK clean but old and musty. Wood floor area and rug covered in stains. Balcony furniture old and rusty and would not sit on it.
