Ship was clean and well maintained.
Cabin was small. There was mold in the air duct of the bathroom & shower head had a leak squirting out water off the side. We were in a balcony on deck 8 (cabin 8526). We've cruised on 3 different cruise lines, all balcony cabins; and this was, by far, the worst cabin.
Food, I'd have to give a grade of D. Only the specialty dining was good. On the last night I was so tired of the main dining room food, I splurged on the $16.50 charge for a filet from Chops Grill ordered from the main dining room menu. It didn't even come close to how Chops prepared it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on ordering specialty dining food from the dining room - they do NOT know how to prepare it. In fact, our waiter explained "we are only responsible for the service, not the food" as an apology to the overall food quality. Windjammer food was typical buffet food. Overcooked and kept warm under lamps, poor quality. Best kept secret: Do breakfast or lunch at Park Cafe ... you can get a warmed breakfast sandwich or a freshly toasted bagel for breakfast and a hot sandwich & small variety of salads or bagged chips and avoid the crowd without overeating.
Small. Smaller than other cruise lines with same classification.
We loved Barcelona! We took an independent tour of the Gaudi Batllo and Sagtada Familiar prior to the cruise using Barcelona Guide Bureau. It was a great tour and our tour guide was excellent and spoke perfect English.
Just walked the city and had lunch.
Chose to stay on the ship as the rug merchants didn't appeal to us.
Took the lift to the city center and walked around. Cool place.
