We selected this cruise as it was an opportunity to see Bermuda which we had not visited before.

Embarkation was very hectic as we has received a message to board earlier than scheduled so that the ship could leave port early to avoid hurricane Hermine. Just a pity that there were not the additional booking in staff to cope with everyone arriving together.

The crew on board were fantastic as was the ship except a couple of areas needing attention. We sailed out of New York passed the Statue of Liberty and the site of the twin towers 9/11 disaster and on out into the Atlantic. The captain did warn all on board that there would be strong winds with a wave height of up to 16 feet but the ship was more than capable of coping with that with just a little movement from time to time. By the time we had reached Bermuda it was like a millpond.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

We were midship deck 11 with a very good cabin except navigating around the bed to the wardrobe and a very small balcony.
