Last year we cruised on the Marina & were so impressed we chose the sister ship, The Riviera, hoping for the same standard of service & food again. We were wrong, it somehow managed to surpass our expectations & step up yet another level.
The ship was beautiful as before. We were in Concierge Class, Cabin 9044 midship, which we chose close to the lifts & stairs. We heard hardly any noise from this area in our cabin & chose to use the stairs on nearly all occasions to try and lose some of the weight we were no doubt gaining with the excellent food.
The cabin was identical to the Marina cabin with Bath, which my wife loves, & separate shower, Spotlessly clean at all times with our cabin steward keeping it perfect at all times. We noticed that one of the drawers knocked another drawer as we opened it but it didn't worry us. The following day we had a knock at the door & it was maintenance come to adjust the drawer which had been reported to them by the cabin steward. Excellent.
Beautifully appointed Cabin with plenty of hangers & hanging space. The Bath is a huge bonus for my wife & she is not keen on showers. We chose this cabin for its proximity to lift & stairs & also being midship. We heard hardly any noise from the lift or stairs area & would certainly choose this cabin again.
