This was our 17th Disney cruise and it came up short in some areas-food quality, entertainment, and excursions in ports. The quality of the food served was not up to par and less than we have experienced on past cruises with Disney. Actually recent Celebrity and Princess cruise food was better.
Food. Dining service was very good and they did everything they could to make up for the food by either replacing it or offering replacements.
Entertainment. Since this EBPC cruise was the last cruise before going to upgrade they only had three big stage musical shows on a 14 night cruise. The first was embarkation night with the standard opening that highlighted a sampling of the other acts so I wouldn't even count this one and usually don't even go. They other two were the Golden Mickeys and Dreams on the last night. We didn't get Toy Story because the offloaded the sets in San Diego and loaded Frozen but didn't offer it. Disappointed.
Cabin location was ok with access to the mid ship elevators not to far away and you could walk to the front of the ship on deck one for forward elevators; however, you could not do the same for the rear elevator. you had to go up at least one to go over and down if there was port access on one aft. Didn't hear much noise in the room. We didn't have heavy waves to decide on the effects. Lots of storage and separate baths.
We love the port area and the ship did not offer the culinary excursion on this trip.
This is also a great city but we have been here many times so we just stayed on the ship.
The ship started here so I did not do an excursion because I live here.
