We have done plenty of ocean cruises - this was our 1st river cruise. Wow! We were surprised and impressed. Lovely thoughtful cabin, huge walk in shower and we loved the greenhouse-style balcony that expands room space and can be enjoyed in poor or nice weather (windows drop down). The gym and beauty salon were smal but enough. Food was simply terrific and consistently so: the evening specialty dining space (all passengers had one reservation) was a fun and elegant Italian style meal. There were so many extras that the truly all inclusive Scenic format facilitates. Crew went beyond expectations all the time for passengers and Cruise Director Richard Grey was exceptional at his job. The fully included excursions were nicely orchestrated with the highlight being the fine evening orchestra performance with ballet and opera staged just for us in a gorgeous Vienna venue. Well done Scenic! We will be back for more.
