We picked this cruise primarily because of the ports of call but also because we had sailed on this ship before and enjoyed it. Generally a really great cruise, good ports ( although we were a little disappointed with Jamacia), Grand Cayman is stunning. We did Royal Caribbean tours in all three destinations with mixed results. Jamacia ( short tour and then shopping on hip strip) and Grand Cayman (trolley Roger - this gets bad reviews but we really enjoyed it!) were good tours but the tour in Cozumel was definitely mis-sold to us. I spoke to the Excursion Staff and they said it was an approx. 2 hour tour, then stop for shopping - the bus would then pick you up or you could get a taxi back to ship (Best of Cozumel and Shopping) they said whole trip was approx 4.5 hours - however it was a 6.5 hour tour - with no stop for lunch... We stopped off in several places but nowhere to get food in most of them until 4.00 pm then we only had a 40 minute stop and were told that we didn't really have time to order food! It also felt like you were being taken to places that they wanted you spend money rather than being able to wonder around - really was a terrible tour!!!
The Entertainment on the ship was great - really good comedy acts and do not miss the Quest or Love and Marriage shows!!! Good singer in the piano bar, and the Dancing in the Street show on the promenade should not be missed. The ship is a little worn in places but nothing really bad. As always the food and staff on Royal Caribbean are excellent. I would also say that of all the lines I have sailed on (RC, Celebrity and Carnival) there buffet restaurant - windjammer is outstanding - everything from the choice of food, layout, lack of queuing, clearing of tables and general availability of tables is head and shoulders above the other lines. Food was also good in the main restaurant and staff throughout the ship were friendly and helpful.
Generally good, although a little worn in places.
Not my favourite port to sail from
It's ok for a beach stop
