Sail Date: Aug 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

As it was a bank holiday weekend my wife and I travelled the day before our cruise to Southampton on Friday 26 August, stayed at the Dolphin Hotel right in the town centre overnight, parked the car there and collected after cruise.

First time sailing with Royal Caribbean, embarkation on Saturday was fast and efficient.

Total time taken from leaving hotel, taking taxi to port, boarding and a seat in schooner bar was 45 minutes.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Deluxe ocean view balcony cabin on deck 6 had plenty of room with lots of wardrobe space; a safe was on a shelf in the wardrobe area.

There were 2 sets of drawers with shelf over having 2 American style plug sockets and 1 European. A mini fridge and kettle is also provided.

Balcony was large comparing it with other cruise lines, 3 chairs a small table and still plenty of room to move about.

Shower had folding doors instead of a curtain that some ships have.

Stateroom attendant named Charles Hodgson was excellent.
