Sail Date: Sep 2016

We sailed on Breakaway 3 months after it launched, and returned to be very disappointed this last cruise. Actually, we really enjoyed our first cruise on the Breakaway and thought it really was a good value, but all has changed.

We also sailed on the Gem in July, and though the food was very good, and after having a bad cruise on RCL in March, though the Gem was many levels above. The Breakaway took the experience to new lows. Just say no to sailing on the Breakaway.

My wife and I sail 3 to 4 time a year (35 or so cruises since 2008), so I think we know what to expect. NCL along with RCL have reached new lows. With the exception of the Gem in July. My understanding is that NCL has made its cost cutting after July 15th. The company is now owned by venture capital company’s and the rape and pillaging has started. There are cuts everywhere.
