My husband and I have cruised before, and celebrated our anniversary on the Breakaway Bermuda cruise, no children. We'd cruised NCL's Jewel and thought we'd have another good experience on this ship. We were generally disappointed; staff didn't show any want to interact with the passengers, only just in being efficient. Several bartenders were rude and there weren't enough servers in the pool area. Average food, except in the speciality restaurants, where service and food were excellent. Locator information is misleading, and needs to be displayed on the elevator screen rather than by the elevators. That would save a lot of walking for those who have difficulty getting around. The shows were good, but not all free; you had to pay for two of them, and Cirque wasn't cheap, even with dinner included, but it was an incredible performance. More warning should be given that smoking is allowed in the casino - it's often necessary to walk through that area to get to the service desks. Our balcony cabin was adequate and there are several balcony choices. We found a lot of passengers agreed with our opinion - all had a good time, but other cruise lines offered more for about the same money. We did enjoy our trip, but not sure we'll continue our relationship with NCL.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

There was adequate clothing and suitcase storage, but bathroom is small. A large person would have trouble fitting in the shower.
