NCL Getaway

The Getaway is definitely a ship worth booking.

My main reason in booking this western caribbean cruise (Miami, Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel was the price, and the fact that it has the studios for solo travelers. However, NCL has cruises where single travelers do not have to pay the solo supplement, therefore I was able to book a guaranteed balcony, with a Free at Sea package that included the Ultimate Beverage package and grauities paid. This time the guaranteed paid off as I ended up with a mini suite cabin.

The boarding in Miami was very smooth. NCL divides the passengers between terminal B and C ... In one side you have embarking groups with even numbers and in the other odd numbers. I was at the port around 10:15, while we were able to check in, we had to sit in a room until boarding was allowed. One thing is that this is a large ship, and a lot of cabins were not ready yet, so if youre coming in early, check your bags and keep something small with your needs for the next few hours.
