This was a gift from my son and the first cruise I had ever been on. We travelled without kids and I must admit that I was more than impressed from the facilities offered to the excellent staff! We arrived in New Orleans the night before and enjoyed exploring the town. I recommend arriving the day before just to be sure you are at the port on time. Our embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. Our Stateroom Steward, Marson, was more than helpful in solving our "broken shoe" issue. Both Guillero and Mario provided quick and entertaining meal experiences, in addition to Stephanie, who provided us with our evening dinning table. I enjoyed the shows tremendously and it was a vacation that I will never forget. Also got the chance to go on the Dolphin Encounter~that is not to be missed! I recommend the Carnival Dream to everyone who wants a nice relaxing yet adventurous holiday! EXCELLENT STAFF, SERVICE, CABIN, FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT....

Port Reviews

New Orleans

The process of getting so many people onto the ship and luggages to the cabins was quick and ran very smoothly. New Orleans is also a city that should be visited. I recommend going the day before, as we did, so we spent the evening walking around Bourbon Street and visited a few bars.

Roatan

The beach was just about a 10-15 minute walk from the port and there were free sunbeds available for all. Also enjoyed the shops around the port.
