I have cruised on two other cruise lines and decided to try Celebrity this time. Some parts of the experience were impressive and others very disappointing. The embarkation process was smooth, but lengthy. We were not informed of a specialized embarkation time until two weeks prior to the cruise. As transportation to Seattle was booked far in advance, that left many passengers checking in whenever they arrived rather than at the appointed hour given. This led to long lines.
The ship was nice, but not distinguishable from any other cruise ship. The grand atrium is definitely modest compared to other ships. Space appeared to be limited as events occurred in various public areas and bars were often located in the hallway. One difficulty of this is that all passengers would be staring at those participating in a line dancing class or dancing to the DJ at night. We noticed many stores, but none dealing with practical concerns. You could buy 12 different brands of watches, but finding a store that sold a sensible raincoat, poncho or boots (for the rainy northwest weather) or was impossible. Basic sundries like toothpaste and meds were confined to a tiny display in the liquor store. So-any forgotten items could not be replaced. The spa class were in a strange sort of fishbowl with the passengers being able to stare into the heated pool area through the surrounding blue tinted glass.
The staff was exceptional. Everyone on board was polite and helpful, usually with smiles on their faces.
Beautiful and spacious with exceptional amounts of storage space. The bed was super comfortable. The cabin was extremely clean. Our cabin attendant was fabulous.
Did this after the cruise. Great little city. Definitely explore Pike's Place Market and the Skyview Observatory.
Great town to do without an excursion. The town is small and conducive to exploration. Creek Street is a must see.
Beautiful gardens, but the excursion was rushed.
