We sailed from Oahu aboard the NCL-Pride of America (POA) on 04/25/09 - 05/02/09.
In this posting I will list the things I enjoyed and the things I think will help future cruisers.
Friday before cruise: Get to the islands a day early to get acclimated to the time change....unless you like crowds and noise don't stay on Waikiki.....stay a few miles away and visit....3am drunks waking you up with car alarms is not a way to start a vacation. Fortunately we are early risers and needed to get up early to go to Pearl Harbor (recommended for everyone).
Cabin Review
Mid-Ship Balcony
Typical cruise ship cabin. nothing special. Balcony was a little obstructed on deck 10 due to ships construction. Get a port side cabin for Hawaii....repeat.....Get a port side cabin for Hawaii.....repeat.....Get a port side cabin for Hawaii!!!!!
