My husband and I sailed out of Bayonne, NJ on a 5 day cruise on the Anthem of the sea on 9/03/2016 o Bermuda. We sailed out during Hurricane Hermine. The embarkation was a smooth transition, it took us less than 20 minutes to check in and get on board. So Saturday was great, Sunday was another story; As stated earlier, the ship traveled through Hurricane Hermine and a good percentage of the ship, a lot of women including myself was sick, We traveled through high waves of 40 to 50 feet and a lot of people just stayed in bed. They offered us free PPV on the TV and free Motion sickness pills. After taking the pills and good long nap, I felt a lot better. On Sunday, the entertainment was cancelled and most of the restaurants were empty. On Monday, we arrived in Bermuda and in the morning it was raining so hard the people that got off the ship ran back on the ship, so we waited until the rain stopped and everyone got off the ship and continued their fun in Bermuda. We went to Horseshoe Bay which was really nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. The next day we went to Snorkle Bay which was right near the ship. Overall the island is Beautiful, the ship's shows were great. The Northstar and the bumper cars were fun and the food was really good. I found myself walking around finding things to do, so I don't think there was enough to do on the ship like others that I have been on but I still had a nice time other than Sunday. I could complain but I was on a cruise and had a good time, just a few hiccups.
