The food on this ship was absolutely horrendous! I actually lost weight. I do not understand how every single meal that was prepared and served to us in the dining room could be so bad. I ended up having to eat at Guys Burger Bar or the sandwich bar every single day. Even the pizza was bad. How do you mess up pizza?? They have very limited activities also, and even though they advertise that this is a good cruise for children, there is not much for them to do. The water slide is not a big slide like it looks in the pictures. It is more of a kiddie slide. I'm not sure what is going on with Carnival, but their employees are NOT happy. None of the kitchen workers even smile at you. The only workers that were friendly at all were our steward and our two waiters in the dining room. We were a large group (17) and everybody griped about the food so it wasn't just me. You have never seen such happy people that literally almost jumped off this ship when we disembarked in New Orleans. We were all so bored and starving! Save your money and avoid this cruise. Royal Caribbean is much better!
