We picked this cruise because it was leaving from a port close to our home and was only five days. The cruise was a bit pricey for a five night cruise, but thought we are saving on airfare and it is a brand new ship with many amenities. My husband and I have cruised many times and this was the first time our children, ages 2 and 4, would experience cruising.
Overall, the Anthem of the Seas is an impressive ship from the outside. However, the inside has some room for improvement. Embarkation was a bit chaotic, as you now check in with RCI staff standing around with Ipads. A bit weird but there were no lines.
Our cabin was great-room 10510. It was a larger oceanview stateroom (301 sq. ft) and had ample storage space. Plenty of space for 4 people. Also very quiet.
